Singapore Perspective Of Dragon in Asia

Singapore is officially the Republic of Singapore. The country habitually is named as the Lion City, the Garden City and the Red Dot. It is also advancing global city state and island country in Southeast Asia. It is located at the southernmost tip of continental Asia in which it is one degree i.e. 137 km or 85 mi north of the equator. It is noticed that the country is parted from Peninsular Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to the north and from Indonesia’s Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to the south. In 1960s, current land reclamation was increased Singapore’s territory, and next it was greatly urbanized by at least 20%. Many islands were developed from the second century AD by a series of local empires. In 1819, Sir. Stamford Raffles identified this country as a trading post of the East India Company.  After being collapsed the company, several islands were abandoned to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Iceland which became part of its Straits Settlements in 1826.
