In brief history, Freund escaped to stay with Kahlo and her husband, Diego Rivera, in Mexico City when Freund was fleeing from political tension in Argentina. In 1950, it was so sad to state that Frida Kahlo’s health was in sharp decline, that is, this because of a series with unsuccessful spinal surgeries she had undergone. Moreover, she was also psychologically and expressively unwell and so her art was dark and grim, but her clothes were still colorful and eccentric indeed.
