# Bloco da Lama Is A Mud Carnival in Brasil

Brazil was inhabited by numerous tribal nations.  Prior to the landing of traveler in 1,500, Pedro Alvares had claimed that this area did belong to Portugal.  Brazil got remained a Portugal colony till 1808, and after that the capital of the empire was transferred from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro when French forces made invasion into Portugal.  Due to a lot of the tribal nations, this country has several ceremonies, carnivals, festivals and other events, for instance, Rio de Janeiro Carnival. Besides this carnival, there is still another carnival such as Bloco da Lama as seen below.

Bloco da Lama carnival is recognized as a mud carnival in Brasil. It is located the small town in the southern part of the country. This carnival now becomes popular among Brazilian people both male and female as seen in images in place. Thus, it introduces us with amazed event and attractive as entertainment and tourism absorbed.

First Bloco da Lama was occurred in 1986. Nevertheless, it could not be called a carnival due to there were only two attendants who got involved in this event. The guys who were going to catch some grabs at the lake Jabaquara were so much annoying insects. Accordingly, they decided to smear mud all over themselves. After that, when some friends participated in this event, the other turned into a mud party.
