Amazing 108,000 trees Have Been Celebrated Birth Of New Prince – World’s Eco-Friendliest Country, Bhutan

Talking about the world’s most eco-friendly and carbon-negative country, we may recall Bhutan that recently just celebrated the birth of new prince. Via amazing birth of new prince, the country started to plant, of course, a lot of trees. There were 108,000 saplings which were planted in the tiny mountain Kingdom to memorialize the first Royal Child of His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema. Note that Bhutanese establishment demands that the forest land has to preserve at least 60 percent at all times. Nevertheless, this green-fingered celebration was not just motivated by the country’s commitment to ecological preservation. Tenzin Lekphell, who was the coordinated initiative, stated “In Buddhism, a tree is the provider and nourisher of all life forms’ and ‘It symbolizes longevity, health, beauty and even compassion.” In fact, this is not the first time that Bhutan has initiated legends for its epic tree-planting sessions and really in 2015, the country got a Guinness World Record by planting nearly 50,000 trees in just one hour.
